Membership

To become a member, please fill out the membership form to start the process. Membership entitles you to attend WAWMR rides, discounted rider training and more!

Memberships must be approved by the committee and this process can take up to four weeks.
Please check your junk email account, as sometimes our emails do get directed to there and you could miss out on receiving it. The reply sometimes comes from the Registrar (registrar@wawmr.org).

To get your membership approved, you will need to be vouched for by an existing member. If you don't know anyone yet, you can still put in your form - just fill out the field with "Unknown" and we'll arrange to help you meet some of our members (or if you've met some of us on an event but can't remember who you spoke to, just put the event....i.e. York Festival). We have regular public rides and events posted in the events section that all are welcome to attend if you would like to meet people first.

Once your application has been approved, you will need to pay a membership fee to complete the process. On confirmation that your payment has been received, you will be sent an email with an electronic receipt, your website account will be activated so that you can log in and view the members only section, you'll be added to our members mailing list and you can join our private Facebook group. You'll also be sent a welcome pack including your membership card in the mail and be welcome to attend all members only rides and events.
